Rules and Regulations for leasing the Community Center

 

  • The Lessee will adhere to all written rules listed here and posted on the premises.
  • The City of Trinity; or its employees or it's governing body shall not be liable for any accidents, incidents, acts of misconduct or violence that may occur before, during or after the date and time that the  Center is leased.
  • One person will be designated as the Lessee in charge.  
  • All T.A.B.C. laws, Community Center and Stewart Park rules & regulations concerning the consumption and/or possession of Alcoholic beverages will be strictly adhered to.
  • Beer may be sold from the kitchen of the Community Center on a Picnic License issued through the T.A.B.C. & a vendor permit from the City of Trinity.  In addition, the cost of this privilege is 15% of the gross sales which will be remitted to the City of Trinity for Park Maintenance.
  • All deposits and rental fees are due at the time the lease contract is signed.  
  • Refunds will be processed the following Friday after the event.  If any damages occur, those costs will come out of your refund.  Refunds will be given in check form and can be mailed or picked up at the City Office.
  • Do NOT tie or tape any decorations to light fixtures, exhaust vents, speakers, walls, the sprinkler system, ceiling tiles or ceiling grids.
  • Do NOT use any nails, tacks, thumb tacks, screws, push pins in the walls.
  • Command strips are not to be used on walls, doors, or any other surface that may cause damage.
  • All fees are based on a 12 hour period.
  • The Community Center doors MUST be closed by 1:00 a.m.
  • There will be an additional $1,000.00 deposit for all events that will have alcohol consumption on Community Center premises.
  •  When alcohol is present at any event, there must be an off-duty Trinity Police Officer present at a fee of $40.00 an hour, (four (4) hour minimum.)  The Officer will be there for the whole duration of the event.  Must be paid prior to the event.

 

Rules and Regulations for Stewart Park

 

  • The consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited on the grounds of Stewart Park and the Community Center. (*Exception: During an organized special event that has been obtained prior approval from the City of Trinity.  A lease agreement will be required along with an alcohol deposit.)3
  • Alcohol deposit: $1,000.00 (This fee is subject to refund only after the Stewart Park and premises have been inspected for damage & certified by the City.)
  • No motorized vehicles of any type are allowed off the driveway except to park in designated parking within the park.
  • No bicycles of any type are allowed off the driveway except to park in designated parking for bicycles.
  • Park and recreation equipment, including tables & chairs, shall not be removed from the Community Center Building at any time.
  • Inflatables such as moonwalks, obstacle courses, & water slides are not permitted.  **Exception: During an organized special, community-wide event that has obtained prior approval from the city.  A lease agreement will be required along with a deposit.
  • Park hours are as follows:

8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during Standard Time

8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during Daylight Savings Time

  • Deposits are subject to refund only after the Community Center/Annex inspection has been conducted and certified by the City.
  • Rental Fees will be waived for Government (city, county, state & federal) entities.
